I posted on here about my car flashing red coolant light. Update: so we have done 2 vw jettas TDI 2002, replaced the transmission in both. Car #1 coolant flashing red and engine temp goes almost immediately to red. Coolant is leaking somewhere not sure where. EGR was cleaned out. Could it be an EGR coolant issue? Would EGR delete tale care of it? It's also slow to start.
Car #2 replaced the transmission. Cleaned the EGR. Been driving it for a few days. While sitting still the coolant light came on. Wasn't driving just parked. No over heating. Stayed right in the middle. Got home checked the coolant. Not low. So that's 2 cars with the same problem...what am I missing? Thanks everyone.
