Jammed Sun Shade

Can someone help with unjamming a Sun Shade??? Jammed mine open a while back and
now it will not close. Does anyone know how to unjam it? I will be needing it
soon as it will be getting very hot here. Especially in the summer.

It is not a job for the do-it-yourselfer, though.
