new throwout bearing not centered?

Hi was wondering if this is okay to install? To me it doesn't seem right better safe than sorry and have to take something off if there is noise or vibration.



The center plastic piece moves but it clicks over to the opposite direction and doesn't center. Luk 17-050 clutch kit.

Yes proceed with installation.

That is a self aligning clutch release bearing. It can be shifted by hand but don't worry. Install, start engine and push clutch pedal. Bearing will find new center on its own.

Makes for a cooler running bearing, no scuffing due to slight center to center misalignment.
