Thanks for the great link. If my conversions are correct (up for debate) then the A4 5sp tiptronic 1.9L goes at $26,500 US and the A6 5sp tiptronic 2.5 at $35,400.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but don't those fuel mileage numbers come out kinda low? If I did it right I got 29 US MPG on 2.5L and 44 US MPG on the 1.9L. Maybe just the difference in "performance" vs "economy"???

Finally, someone with information give input on the "EU III exhaust emission standard" in relation to North American or US emission standards. Are we talking tier 2 minimum???

Peter, thank you for those unreal links to the Audi TDI TurboDiesel Technology, we North Americans read and weep...... if only we had some intelligent political leaders here, maybe we would have a chance to purchase these world-class automobiles!

These have been available in the VW range for about 3 months now, I believe Rob Longfellow’s A6 Quattro TDI is due for delivery at the end of the month.

P.S. I’m not really jealous.
