How about that totally functional (if not exactly stylin') roof rack? Difficult to see in the photo, but it also had an antenna that looked to be long enough to communicate with ET...

I wonder how many miles this old road warrior has on it?

It's a MKI, yes I also would like to know the miles that it has racked up.
Was it a Diesel?

Yup, it sure was.

I wonder if the D sticker on the back is an indication of the owners pride in it being a diesel? Go VW diesels!

Actually the D is for Deutschland (Germany). This car was once registered in Germany (or the owner wants you to think it was).
