EKTA help for front struts and rear shocks

I was going to replace the shocks and struts on my 290k mile b5.5 and began thinking that I may need to replace more than the shocks ans struts....

Anyone think I should replace the springs as well? Would just to OEM springs. Nothing stiffer or sportier. Do they get worn out? Increased sag? I've never owned a car this long and have no idea.

Anyone know where I can get EKTA help showing all the bits and pieces I'd need? I don't want to have it torn down and be short some small bits (on either the front or rear).
