Anyone have any tricks to get the broken off stem that is stuck inside out so I can install my new speed sensor? The stem is busted off and I can't get it out and it doesn't allow me to tighten the new on down. Car is a 2000 jetta tdi 5 speed. Thanks guys!

I had good luck once with a Chev car of some sort. I don't remember the model. The crank position sensor broke off so I drilled a small hole into it and turned in a sheet metal screw. I was able to get a small pry bar behind the head of the screw and pull the crank position sensor out. I also had the new sensor in my hands so I could see how far to drill as I didn't want to go right through the sensor into the engine. Good luck!
