The mk7 has another neat feature i noticed related to the clutch: when letting the clutch out shortly it revs the engine for you, likely in an attempt to prevent stalling.
Anyways, personally i don't mind the hill hold, i do mind the clutch delay valve though, it took a while to get used to it... On my list...
