I got the emissions fix a couple weeks ago, they said my mpg would go down approx 1-2 mpg. I'm see 5 to 7 mpg less after the fix. Any one else got the fix and seeing such a dramatic loss?
Everything else seems pretty normal as far as how it's running.

Newbie here.

FWIW - just purchased 2013 Q7 TDI (82K miles, fixed) 10 days ago, loaded the back with 1000 lbs. of cargo, pulled a trailer with 2,400 lbs Gross weight, averaged 19.7 MPG going from 660 feet elevation to 3,200 feet elevation final destination 150 miles, mostly interstate driving at 65-70 mph.

Once unloaded and un-hitched, the avg has settled in at 27.9 mpg at the higher elevation.

Previous owner stated they were getting 22-25 mpg around metro Atlanta GA area. She has a lead foot when driving!

The mpg issue is easily fixed with a tune (only, no deletes needed). Plus a significant power gain in the bargain. In fact it will be a MPG improvement compared to BEFORE the fix.
