I have a lifetime subscription as well. I forgot when I bought it but obviously they didn't offer it for long. It was probably 2010 as well. I remember paying less for lifetime than for the five year package so it was a no brainer.

I had it attached to my SkiFy2 unit and I transferred it to my VW in 2013. I remember being allowed to transfer it 4-5 times at a clip of $70 per transfer.
