I figured I would post this here as well....Not a TDI...but is a CDI....

I understand that it may need to be pulled down since it does not meet the posting rules....I just wanted to offer it to some Diesel Enthusiast.

70+k new????? yeah right, it doesn't even have parktronic, definitely no disctronic, no keyless go, and not even heated seats...does it even have bixenons light package?

e320 cdi was 49k base
there's no 20k in options available for that car unless it's security package and that would be more than 20k ;p

Yep, that car was around $55k new. I worked at the MB dealership for a short time. White and black ones were cheaper, since for some reason MB still charges extra for metallic paint, LOL.

It does not have the goofy roof, either, which was an expensive option.

Thanks for the detailed responses/corrections. I will get that corrected now. Maybe I should have questioned it a bit more when I was told it was a 70k+ car. I assumed it was right. I thought it surely felt and looked like one....

oilhammer....I was about to buy one of those panoramic roof E-Classes for my wife about a week ago at an auction. But it wouldn't close properly. After calling my mechanic about repair cost...I may never buy one with that option....Expensive/goofy is right.

Pano roofs are a crazy expensive liability no matter whose brand the car wears. Lexus, MB, Volkswagen, all the same... stay away... far away. What really stinks is often times they simply can NOT even BE fixed, as when the car is in some minor accident. Nothing fits correctly ever again. Even some of them get tweaked beyond repair from new on the transport trucks. We had an RX330 like that.
