DSG driving tips? Former manual driver.

I gave up on finding an SE trim with a manual that didn’t have hail damage (in Colorado). I went with DSG and found it to be pretty good. I “downshift” to sport mode off the line and to accelerate out of turns. I flip over to manual mode and use paddles for complete control during aggressive mountain driving. I’ve come to like it enough after adapting to a different way of interacting with the car. I’m now somewhat indifferent to transmission.
