I saw 2.29 for D2 at Home Depot station yesterday...unfortunately I wasn't in my TDI. Most other stations around are near 2.50.
That station probably just doesn't want to guarantee that its diesel has 15 ppm or less. It's probably close to 15 ppm, and might be less, but they don't want to bother with the paperwork -- which wouldn't be much, since each load of fuel they receive will say if it's ULSD or not. Or maybe, they want to stay flexible, and take whatever fuel has a lower wholesale cost.DK said:Hi gang,
It has been consistent at $2.59 at my Mobil stop for more than a month now. That is for lsd. Don't know if they intend to sell ulsd. The help doesn't know either. I don't much care. Part of me would like to see what the ulsd is like, but the other part of me reads the "leaking" stories after ulsd use. I am not anxious to experience problems.
