I've got most of the bugs worked out now on this car except error 19456 P3000. Problem with glow plug light. The person that re- programed my ECU isn't sure how to change another light in my dash to the glow plug light. I did confirm that the glow plugs are working properly, but I cant find on the wire diagrams which wire from the TDI ECU would send power to a glow plug light. If anyone knows which it is , let me know an I can wire a separate light.

I'm doing a C5 Allroad BHW conversion-almost finished-and instead of worrying about wiring in a glow plug light, I just bought a Euro instrument cluster for a TDI C5 A6 from Europe. Has the glow plug light and correct tachometer scale. Codable for four cylinder diesel engine. Cost $54 including shipping.

I also have a code 18044 P1636. what should I connect the violet wire with the blue stripe in connector T17k (red) to? And even though the engine is running perfectly smooth I get the code 17909 P1501 short to fuel pump. Is there a way to permanently clear that?

Is that the ground circuit control for the fuel pump relay? What year A6 are you working on?

2003, that's the wire from the A6 ECU to the Airbag module.
