So yeah, hope you are all spoiling your TDIs with little presents...

And my condolences, Fred, for being a year older :D

I always found that today's roses' price will make the highest profit all over the year.:)
And happy birthday Fred.

And happy birthday Fred.
I used to buy my wife flowers quite often, but within days, she would have them tied together and hanging upside down somewhere to dry them out. It was then that I decided to only buy here flowers that were already dried out - it was much cheaper that way...

I could never figure out why she was mad?

Condolences/congrats Fred, I'll let you choose.

As for Flowers, My S/O and I came to an agreement long ago that buying flowers on Valentines day is like paying more a TDI vehicle when fuel prices are high and there are almost no diesels for sale in the market... wait... a crap...never mind.

I just get her a card and leave the flower buying to the other 362 or so days a year when flowers are not marked up excessively.

thanks, I will favour the latter!
I am in 100% agreement regarding flowers, they're best left planted in the ground!
chocolate and wine make much better V-day gifts. both guaranteed to please
