Time for tires.... I currently have the Michelin Defenders but considering a change.

Has anyone tried the Pirelli P4 Four Season Plus tires on their MKiv Jetta? They seem comparable.

If so, what are your thoughts / comments about them?

(Sorry if this belongs in another thread)

I just purchased a set of pirelli p4's for my golf this spring. They got decent reviews online. So far no complaints from me. They have good grip when it's been raining, and seem to have a fairly stiff sidewall compared to my last set of all seasons. There quiet, and didn't seem to affect my mileage. Now to see how the treadwear lasts. Believe they said, 80,000. Time will tell. Good price at just under a hundred Canuckistanian pesos.
