Metal Skid Plates yet?

I know it is a new model, but anybody have a line on a skid plate for the new Passat yet? I had a DieselGeek on my MKV Jetta and it was DA BOMB... Feelin kinda naked without one on my Passat currently with winter coming on...

Yes unfortunately. Not like up north, but we routinely get at least 3-4 snow/ice storms a year. Last year we had a rough winter (for us at least), and my Panzer kept me from taking a couple of hits... Good thing though, I drive my wife's 4 motion Tiguan if it gets too rough...

I'm sure Jim is just needing a doner car to test some ideas with mounting a plate on the passat. Hopefully the underpinnings are similar to the mk5 mk6 A5 platforms. I'd say someone needs to stop by his place get a plate made up and shortshifter maybe he'll make it worth your while.
