I have a VW Caddy maxi 1,9 TDI, 2008, 150.000 km, witch suddenly loses power. The engine is still running, but goes to idling. It lasts untill I release the gas pedal for a few seconds and then when pulling the gas pedal again, the engine gains power again. Some days it happens very often, other days it doesn´t happen. I haven´t found a link to humidity, velocity, certain gear or cold/warm engine. It can happen under acceleration or when driving with constant speed. Otherwise the engine is going very well.
The mechanics have put on the computer several times, also when driving and the engine fails, but it measures no errors. Does anyone know, where to find or look for the reason to this error?
