I'm doing a 160 miles highway trip today I will let you know what FE I get. I haven't adjusted the IQ back down yet. Injector balance: .49, .24, -.45, -.33 (just about perfect IMO)

Interesting, that's much more in-family, even though the city MPG seems still very low.

Any chance your thermostat could be stuck open, prolonging the engine's rise to operating temperature? You'd see more impact from that on short trips than that long one.

Thanks, but I don't think so. It is 20-30 degrees here in the morning when I start driving and I have heat within a few miles of driving.

Well I just got an FE report, 307 miles at 35mpg, lots of short trips and a couple of hard country road runs.
I've been pushing it to test my boost limitation adjustment on the actuator.

Frankly I feel the injectors are a tad big, IQ at 8.8, good balance in block 13, starts well hot or cold with no throttle input.
With ARP headstuds to be installed, I could easily make more power, and lose a bit of FE, but hey, this car's FUN to drive.

Should have some TT quattro rear brakes, 256x22 vented rotors soon.
Waiting on some new rotors, picked up a pair of calipers over the
weekend. One needs some new seals, fingers crossed all the parts
go together.
