2000 1.9l tdi beetle turbo

Could anyone help me I think my turbo on my 2000 tdi 1.9L beetle is going bad a down on power. I loose about 15mph going up a little hill what do I need to due.

Doubt its your turbo.

Do a search for "loss of power", "MAF", "clogged intake", and "snow screen".

Chances are your Mass Air Flow sensor is on its way out, your air intake manifold may be partialy clogged with carbon build up, and/or your snow screen needs to be cleaned.

How many miles are on the car?

This could also be due to a clogged fuel filter. When was it last changed?
