Spec flywheel?

Ok, the topic of the spec clutch has been previously discussed, but what about the spec flywheel?

They have a lightened aluminum flywheel on their web site. Is it worth it to upgrade to this flywheel allong with the stage 2 clutch?

What are some issues with a lightened flywheel? Any drivability concerns?

Zuber,I had a Tilton aluminum flywheel on my rx-7... while not a TDI there are some things that im sure would apply. First it reved a hell of alot faster...it had quicker throttle response.It also helped in brakeing because the engine dropped RPMs alot faster so it was like a brake upgrade. On the downside I lost some of the smoothness in everyday driveing It had a tendency to lope a little at certain speeds.I was autocrossing the car at the time so the trade off was worth it to me.
