question tho....
what size tires u running? are u running spacers
cause i have long beaches with 225/45r17 and they rub like crazy when im down that low. or what can i do to solve this problem?

No spacers on mine. The tires are 215/45/17, with ET38 on the wheels I think? It doesn't rub at all :D

VR6 rotors front and rear


KW V2 coilovers (height and dampening adjustable)


Still need Hawk pads and some control arm bushings!

i don't mean to open a can of worms on your build thread, so if a redirect is a better idea, lay it on me. I'm trying to get caught up with offsets and what not and i was wondering if there was an ideal target offset for our cars, or what. i've searched and can't really find anything, though my wife says i'm blind, so who knows.

you said you had et38, do you remember what your stock was?

Ben, the offset on my wheels are 35mm now. If you look on vortex, they have all that broken down. I had my wheel guru (Joshua) help me out with these.

I think it raised the back of the car up 1/2' :thumbdown:

Thanks! Yeah Josh sold the Jetta front end to a TDI guy, must be you!

He is working on it still, slowly but surely. A Mk1 with an ALH will be soooo nice!

yes it was I... he was quite helpful and the MK1 looked very nice... i cant wait to see it complete.

Yep post #29, that's him. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He helps me all the time with my dubs :)
