Since I am now out of warrantee, this concerns me. I entered my car, went to start it up, and as I'm pushing the start button, the display reads something to the effect of PassKey Failure. Now, the car started without any hiccups but it leaves me with some concern. I replaced the battery in my key fob, just to be safe, but I wanted to know if anyone else has encored then message. I was unsuccessful in finding any other threads on the subject. Thanks for any input you can offer.

Drive safe.

What is PassKey? Are you referring to the KESSY system?

I had an error the day that I went to turn mine in. It said key not in range. I held the key up the the steering column and it started. The JSW without KESSY did something similar. I disconnected the battery and it worked fine after that.
