yes, strangely tempting actually.... fuel economy isn't great - 10-11 on the highway...

That MB van diesel is anything but fuel efficient if you are looking at it from a commuter car point of view. They are good when loaded up though.

those engines aren't so bad with the 7 speed trans. But with the 5 speed and the terrible axle ratio's that Jeep installed, it's not as good as it should be.

I looked into swapped the diffs on 1 of these - if I recall, the rear was easy to find, but the front was a challenge. It was 1 of those things that was available on paper in another model, but finding it was impossible

Looks like another dealer bought the same truck gave it a wash and wax and slapped $2K on the list price:
