Thanks again for the compliments. The car has finally been successfully registered in Quebec after two weeks of frankly a lot of frustration. I've edited the post above to give more details.

Ever on the lookout for wheels, but I'd like ultra-lightweight forged ones and I'm leaning on a monochrome motif with matte gunmetal colour. No bigger than 17". These are just aspirational - what I end up getting is what's available at the time that I can afford.

Just wondering why are you trying to register the car in Quebec? Why not have it transport/toll on a rental flatbed or something back to Ontario first?

Congrats on the car - it's a great choice! I would have personally swapped a Canadian B6 manual wagon...or a B6 S4...do you reckon it was worth the 4k in shipping and headaches with registration?
