Meet & greet is a social that can and will most likely be held in the restaurant at the hotel. you are on your own for food/beverage.

Breakout sessions are discussions about various topics led by a couple/three of our well known & loved members about whatever topic they choose.

one of the breakouts will be led by Chris Hill (mrchill) but I am not aware of his topic as of yet.

No final commitment yet, but it is looking very promising. If the discussion I've been part of works out, they will be showing off a few things North Americans haven't seen.

About the Road Rally ... its going to work out great if the weather is good. I'd like to see if we can get a few drivers starting a bit earlier than 3:30 ... especially "IF" the turnout of TDI is good. (more teasers on this later) It will be helpful to be at the destination endpoint prior to 5:00PM ... so if you are planning to be part of the Rally be sure to get to the "starting line" early.

Is there anymore details on any of these schedule items?

Like what are the subjects and speakers of the tech sessions and the breakout sessions?

Can you describe in more detail what the road rally/fuel economy event is?

Do you expect to be adding something to Sunday morning or is it only the car detailing event.

If not, is there a list of events in the area that we can be pointed towards?

(Obviously still trying to decide)

You'll all welcome to fly/drive a couple miles up the road for a Pancakes and Sausage breakfast on Sunday morning!

Disclosure: My EAA Chapter has its annual FlyIn/Pancake Breakfast on Labor Day weekend ... which is the reason I've never attended a TDIFest. This year with it nearby, I'll be able to shuffle between both events. (BTW ... volunteer 'Pancake flippers' are always welcome! )
