Default Fest Registration!

It's great that the hotel registration has been up for some time. However, we need the Fest registration to reference to know exactly why we want to reserve that room!

Do we have an ETA for Fest Registration?

Of course!

The reason I ask is that traditionally registration has opened closer to the first of the year. Last year was different as the new website for registration was launched.

If no registration, how about some Fest hype? Event teasers etc...
No action on the Fest thread tends to decrease Fest interest.
...just an educated observation...

All I'm asking is for a carrot here, guys!

Julie, something more than a carrot for you!

Seriously, working on final confirmation of main speakers. Tim is working on updating the registration site from last year.

way to slip in the Jetta selling part, there, tomo! What's up... too many TDI's? Who's gonna harass the staff and cause general debouchery if you're not there, tomo! We'll miss you terribly if you don't join us.

I won't get worried about registration until mid may - based on the experience from last year. But I do agree with Julie about the carrots - and I don't like vegtables! Perhaps a thread or two announcing who those possible speakers are? or a list of possible awards to aim for might be... like highest mileage driven to fest, or the sparkliest cah in da lot...anything new at this fest this year. Advertising is key.

Tomo posted this in another thread in regards to a TDI GTG in May so if he sticks by the below statement sounds unlikely he'll show at the 2008 Fest as a result:

Actually my 06 Jetta is coming out to California..........A gentleman is buying the car and Leonard is brokering the deal......
I will still have 2 96 Passat TDI's, but if I do come to the fest I will bring my new car if I have it by then........
