Default TDIFest OH-8 (2008) coming to Mason, OH

Congratulations to the CinciTDI and Columbus TDI Groups for being select winners of TDIFest 2008.

TDIFest 2008 will be held in Mason, OH on the Labour Day weekend (August 29th to August 31st, 2008) and will be put together with the key people below from the CinciTDI and Columbus TDI groups:

RichC
Growler
cojones
ITSPREZ
GMark
Paramedick

Mason, OH is just outside of Cincinnati and 1.5 hours south of Columbus, OH. The schedule is still being tweaked and is preliminary, but will loosely following the 06/07 schedules.

A brief and tentative outline can be viewed here (PDF, 1.5mb)

More to come as things progress. We anticipate having registration up and running in early January once a few more items/schedules are tweaked.

Now, can I squeeze the time to drive the 4,089 km each way or do I fly?

Default Let the questions begin!

when is registration going to be up?
why isn't it being held closer to my house?
why do I have to pay to register if I only attend for the day?
why can't it be held during my scheduled vacation week?

I've marked my calendar....in indelible ink!
Looking forward to details as they are announced.

I posit we have a special award at the banquet for the first member to post the usual tired annual whining!

Only 7 hours from Toronto... and close to one of the truly great Rib joints... (Montgomery Inn - it's only been 24 years since I've been there... 25 by the time TDI-Fest takes place... a good excuse to celebrate... hmmmm... wonder if the wife will appreciate attending TDI-Fest as a 25th wedding anniversary celebration...)

Congrats to the organisers!!

Yuri.

Yes, though Ohio is mostly flat and has an annoying speed limit (which is actually enforced ) it is a nice central location!
