Hey everybody, I have had a problem crop up on my 2015 A6, it developed a rattle over the left front suspension area.
The shop I use for regular maintenance had replaced the front brakes and rotors the previous week (OEM parts) and the next week the rattle started. I took it back, they checked all the brake components, and all had been correctly installed. They offered to re-torque all the front end suspension bolts to see it that would fix it but that didn't work either. The mechanic noticed the front struts (78K miles) appeared to be a bit worn so I had them replaced. The rattle went away for about a week then returned.
I had a recall on the car for an issue and the motor mounts were leaking so I took it to the Audi dealership to get that done and had them do some troubleshooting. They said it was the front anti-sway bar, which was replaced under warranty. That fixed the rattle, but today, one week later, the rattle is back.
Anybody have any suggestions?
