One new thread per day in GD forum?

I request that the guidlines for the General Discussion forum be modified to indicate that members may only initiate one non-TDI related thread per day (for this forum only).

This will prevent one or two members from dominating this forum, and will hopefully raise the level of the discourse.

I agree.
Maybe that way people will put more consideration into their posts.

sounds good to me! we have had examples where certain members have from 5-10 "active" threads on the same day/page. no names, but RW,PS, and SP come to mind

This is the most sensible response to the GD problems I have heard so far.
Don't know if the technology can be set up?
