High pitch sound coming from rear passenger side.

Hello, I am new to the forum, I have a 2015 Passat TDI SE 36000 miles and there's a high pitch ringing sound coming from the rear passenger side area. I've done some research and it sounds like it could be the DEF pump or fuel pump. Is it something I should be concerned about? I have not contacted the dealer yet. Sometimes it's louder and sometimes it's really quiet and you can barely hear it.

I have a '15 jetta also has a high pitch whine. Sounds like a larger walbro fuel pump if you're familiar. This is a concern? I'm new to TDI
