I was humming along the on road, when the passenger side windshield viper suddenly stopped in the middle of its stride. The driver side one kept on going like nothing had happened, but there was the clattering of loose metal dragging rhythmically over metal somewhere in front. I opened up the windshield assembly casing and the problem came right into view.
I moved the right viper to where the two parts would align, and tried to press them together with my hands. That didn't work, so I took a pair of polygrip-pliers, and squeezed them together with a pop.
I'm not sure how long this will hold. Is it possible to fit new bushings, or must the entire linkage be changed?
