So I've been having some issues with my intake hose and intercooler hose popping off lately.
I fixed the intake using a modified dog collar.
But the other day the upper intercooler hose popped off behind the headlight. i took it all apart and saw the coupling for the hour.had a nub partially sheared and the intercooler hose flip attachment was cracked.. i connected it back up and a day later popped.off again. Obviously it will no longer hold.
Im going to try a modified collar on this joint as well since locating new pieces is difficult and very expensive.
Is this a common occurance or could i be having an underlying issue Im not aware of.
About 2 months ago i was in a small accident thatsomeone hit my drivers side fender and bumper at 35mph. could this have caused the issues?
