spotted in SFBA -a black Jetta A3 TDI -who?

i was in the San Fransisco area over thanksgiving. on sunday the 26th at about 7pm, i was surpised (a TDI in CA?) to see a black Jetta TDI (A3 chassis) tooling around the Mission district as i had gone out whith some friends for dinner. A gentleman with short black hair (and glasses?) was driving and passed my friends vehicle. was this anyone here?
