Criteria for \"Veteran\" status?

Hello all,

Pardon me if this info is blatantly obvious somewhere. I've evidently missed it if it is...

I've read a few posts that mention a member achieving "veteran" status after as few as 6-8 posts. Is there a definitive number of posts that determine graduation from "newbie" status? Are the number of posts the only criteria?

Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me.

Unfortunatly the only criterea is posts. I'd have to double check what the actual number is, but I believe it is 25.

Thanks for the info, I should be there (25 posts) fairly soon. If the criteria were "hours spent on the site" I'd have been a Veteran after the first week. It's really scary how addictive these forums have become...

Any forums I've been familiar with usually turn that feature off. It usually only promotes a posting war between certain types of members. You know, neener neener I have more posts than you.
