New England Caravan Tour Down to KY

Just curious if there is a crowd wanting to caravan down to Kentucky. I am thinking that we leave on Thursday morning. Drive until evening. Get a hotel and then drive all day Friday to the fest.

Anyone interested in doing this?

If you're talking about following the best route based on traffic/congestion/time of day, Sounds like a good Idea, however I'll be driving alone so I tend to go hard at it, and stop only for fuel especially with 944.2 miles to cover to the hotel. I can't do formation driving the whole way down- it's just going to raise the fatigue level, speaking just for me. Being staggered by a few miles apart would be best. Having been to sea many times before having cell numbers of all others in the convoy on hand in case of trouble would be good as well.

I would be in for that idea, however I will be heading out on Tuesday for a white water rapid detour in West Virginia!!

I have been all over the TDIFest 2011 forums and I cant find anywhere the location.. Where specifically is TDIFest in Lexington??

Does knowing this play some sort of role in whether you want to caravan? This thread is about whether you want to go down together to the TDIfest.
