3.0L TDIs may not get buyback?

Article in FT today indicates that VW believes the NOx issue in 3.0L engines is an easy fix and may not require substantial modifications.

US regulators are currently evaluating the proposed fix.

Old news and it's been covered for several weeks. Some say they have a fix, others say the fix failed... All speculation at this point. Monkeys may fly outta my butt by noon, but that too is speculation... I'm sitting tight and waiting to see what VW says about my 3.0 once they deal with the larger 2.0 issue.

The quote was from a VW lawyer involved in negotiations.

Which makes it especially useless . . . lawyers almost always spin.

Having said that, I have no doubt they will fix them all . . . it's more a matter of time . . .
