I don't know if this is the best sub-forum to ask, but I'm trying to figure out what struts are installed on my '03 Golf.
The only markings I was able to find are:
GAS PRESSURIZED UNIT
MADE IN SPAIN
DO NOT HEAT OR OPEN
71 525L S4DO8 (or B?)
All I have been able to find so far with Google are that some KYB and Monroe shocks and struts might come from Spain.
They were on the car when I got it in late 2013 so they're at least 6 years old. Service records don't mention anything about them.
