Help me identify this clutch

So I just received my new clutch, and since it seems the vendor didn’t send the flywheel I ordered with it I’m being sceptical of which clutch this is.
It’s supposed to be a south bend stage 2 endurance but it doesn’t look like all the others I’ve seen... does anyone recognize this?

My SB came with a Sachs pad. What's the pressure plate look like?

I think you received a daily instead of endurance

Thanks, but the daily looks like it has a bigger friction surface than mine and the stage 3 looks similar but the friction surface is actually inverted, and it has 6 springs instead of 4.


The closest i've seen from google image search is this:

But the pressure plate it completely different and it's for an Audi gasser.

Well after a little digging on southbends website I found it, it's a VR6 clutch...

I'm assuming I can use this on a TDI without an issue?

I think it's the daily as I have. Stage 2 good for stage 4 tune.

One side of that disk is organic so I would assume it is a daily....unless SB has changed these discs recently. What was the code on the box?

If it was me I would give South Bend a call to clear this up before installing....they are very good to talk to.

I didn't get the original box sadly, the parts were all sent in a usps box with the installation guide and sticker etc.. I've sent South Bend an email with the pic of the clutch and am contacting the vendor since the flywheel didn't get sent, so hopefully this can get cleared up soon.
