Was the future use telephone fuse area ever used in the MK4 Jetta?

The A4 platform cars (the sedan was called a Bora) in Europe did have a telephone option, as well as a boatload of other options we never got (sat-nav, AWD, etc.). If that is what you are asking.

I suppose so, my TDI has an empty fuse meant for a phone.
