I have a 2015 Beetle.

the first part of the 'fix' seemed to make little difference, 1.5 MPG les.

second part is being done currently.

I'm considering getting a Flashzilla and a Malone stage 2 tune.

Has anyone done this? Results? Issues?

Thanks in advance.

My wife *LOVES* our Beetle, and I like it quite a bit, but no vehicle EVER has enough performance IMHO :)

I have, Malone stage 2 and Rawtek kit. I have actually done it twice on the same car because I wanted the fix money from VW. Car is amazing.

Got it done.

Very very nice.

2015s don't need a DSG tune, per the tuner. Went from measured 133 to 163 HP. Was 150 stock before the fix gutted her.

So you actually dyno'd it before and after you did the delete and tune?

Wow, you picked up 30 hp and didn't delete anything. That's impressive. I mostly did the delete because I was having intercooler icing issues that VW couldn't resolve. Sure did lose a lot of weight and open up a lot of room behind the motor. I have also installed a Fluidampr and have a 2 Micron kit on my desk that's next to go on. I also want to do a muffler delete but that one is proving tricky because Rawtek dosn't offer one for a early '13 that has the straight axle rear suspension.
