VW Seat Heater Question: 2010 Jetta TDI vs. 2017 Passat TSI

Our 2010 Jetta TDI seat heater gets pretty hot, which I like. Our new 2017 Passat TSI seat heater barely gets warm, which I hate it. Did they change them or something?

How is a 2015 Passat TDI seat heater? Is it like the 2010 or 2017 version? I drive 110 miles a day, so having a seat heater that gets pretty warm is nice. I'm considering a 2015 Passat TDI, which is why I ask.

That surprises me. My 2010 TDI takes forever for the seats to heat up and then they don't get that warm. My wife's 2015 TSI heats up almost instantly and will burn your ass off!
