According to nadaguides.com, a fair price for a private sale would be $5300. Your price is WAY out of line! See for yourself!

Sorry to hear about your job. I work in Morristown and just lost the use of my 03 Golf tdi due to hitting a massive pothole which blew the right side curtain airbags. I'll have to total it out as repair costs will be almost double the car's value.
Anyhow, if you have more pics it would be most appreciated. I'm fond of the 1.9L tdi made until 2003, but the newer pre Sportwagen Jetta wagons w/ 2.0L motor are popping up for not much more.

The benefits and reliability of the ALH in the 02/03's is why they are holding their value.

its been too cold to wash it and didnt want to post dirty photos. next above freezing day i hope to wash it. i have a few photo's from my phone

also those new Tdi's scare the crap out of me. any contaminated fuel [ any gas in it ] could cause the fuel pump to self destruct and send metal into the IP. about $8,000 in repairs VW wont cover.

So now, what is the corrected price???

i'm surprised no one took my dirty photos comment and ran with it

some clean exterior photos; however i didnt have a vacuum to get the interior.
i have the engine cover in storage, i never like having those things on. i like to see and hear my engine.
next week i go to see the dealer on the rust through fender.

How bad is the rust where it hasn't eaten through the other panels yet? How about the undercarriage and mufflers etc? Thanks.

that fender is the only place i found rust on the car.

Has it been looked over by the dealer to assess whether any other panels or parts underneath may need to be replaced? Where I live, we don't use salt on the roads, and don't have to worry/think about this really. Any pics of the underneath side?

everything else is good to go, i checked it over b4 i got it. i knew that fender would be replaced by VW

job interview on tues. i might be keeping my wagon.

VW is going to replace the fender...i call on monday to schedule the repair.

SOLD!!!! to the 1st person that came after fender was replaced.
FYI VWoA replaced the fender N/C and was a great experience with them..
