Apparently the 2012 Golf TDI will now have "Seattle" Alloys instead of "Salamanca"?

Interesting, but to me there isn't a striking enough difference between the Portos, Salamancas or these Seattles to get any excitement over. All have the same over all look IMO.

+1 - I replaced my Portos with aftermarket, would have done the same with either of these styles as well.

I like Seattles better but according to the dealers I spoke to and seeing the Order Guide, Seattle wheels are an option that are not orderable with the TDIs. My guess is that they are putting them on certain TDIs either randomly or with certain colors or trims.

Over the weekend I was poking thru the 2012s listed on cars.com I had found a Red TDI with Seattle wheels and the rest of the TDIs had Salamanca's. That car isn't listed now though.
