Strange Noise

My 2012 Passat TDI got totaled in an accident so we purchased a 2015 Passat TDI and it keeps making a noise the dealership can’t seem to fix. Anyone know what is causing this? It happens when we come to a stop and foot is on brake. It stops when we take foot off brake and continue driving. It does not happen when in motion or when car is parked and idling. Noise is driving me nuts and I’m worried it’s a warning of a bigger problem to come. It’s definitely not the heat shield. It’s coming from engine area.
Does anyone know how I can attach a video that has the sound? I don’t see an attachment option.
