ALH hard coolant pipe seal replacement cost?

I was wondering if anyone in Ontario got this done and what it cost them? My Jetta is leaking badly from the hard coolant pipe connection to the block AND the exhaust so i can't really drive it at the moment.

Exhaust leak is likely from in front of the cat as that was repaired a few years ago.

Any thoughts would be great, thanks!

The coolant crossover pipe to block o-ring is about an hour job if you've done one before. I would expect a shop to charge a couple hours labour. The o-ring itself is cheap, but make sure to use the correct OEM o-ring and clean the block mating surface thoroughly.

For the exhaust, it's anyone's guess - best to have it looked at by an exhaust shop.

Hey Windex! Thanks for your help, glad to know it's not too terrible of a job if i do need to do it. There's a chance it's the thermostat, which would be great and considering I'm having a hard time getting past 84°c, it may need changing.

At the moment, g13 has taken care of the problem by sealing it.
