I love this B4V. It's been a great, reliable, and fun car. I just happen to come across a low mileage Mk4 in great shape, and I can only keep so many vehicles at this time.
I got it from CharlieT, a TDI club forum member from a few years back, and a guru in my estimation. He had it in good shape (intake cleaned, EGR disabled, etc.) when I took it seven or eight years ago. I've kept it in top shape mechanically as far as the fundamentals go. Only the things that I don't consider essential got short shrift, i.e I don't need music in the car and a heater in Houston is optional.... Even at 315K, this thing feels like it has a lot of life left in it.
