Lotus Elise will finally come to American shores next spring.
Revered for its razor-sharp handling and relatively modest price, the U.S. spec version isn't expected to lose any of its fun-to-drive character in the transition. Equipped with a 1.8-liter Toyota four-cylinder tuned to produce 190 horsepower, the Elise will be one of the fastest production cars on the market. Expect 0-to-60 times in less than 5 seconds, a quarter-mile time of just over 12 seconds and a top speed of around 140 mph.
