How to force warm air flap shut in air box?

I have a 06 TDI and the warm air flap in my air box is in the infamous stuck open position...does anyone know a good method of keeping the flap shut? Thank you!

I just found a bolt i had lying around that was the right size and jamb it in the to hold it up and reinstall it.

I removed it and force closed the flap and used a bolt to hold it in the closed position.

If you examine the air intake filter box, you will see that there is a plastic divider between that part of the air intake filter and the main air intake scoop. I used a bolt to keep the flap closed too, but I also cut the plastic out separating the two parts under the air filter so as to enable full use of the air filter area.

Where did you put the bolt to hold it closed? Can you post a photo if possible?

I just used a small block of wood. Been there without trouble for about 5 years now.
