Default EDC16 Injection Durations(Passat 2007 1.9TDI 105

Hello. Could someone help me, please?
I want to remap VW Passat 2007 1.9TDI(105) with DPF a little bit. There is stock hardware and want stg1(remap to 60mg/str), but I cannot understand Duration maps - there are 43.85 degrees duration(60mg and 5000rpm) on stock map. Why so big diff with 2005 Passat 1.9TDI(non DPF)? There stock values for that map are 26-27 degrees and remaped are 28-29.
How much can remap max duration? I think 43 degrees are very much. There could be difference in nozzles?

AFAIK There’s no need to modify duration for a stage 1.

Remember, more fuel needs more air.

Boost I set up to 1,3bar. Now I changed limiters to 60mg, but in real life there is no much power gain. I read that, that Duration max aproxx 35*, but why Bosch calibrated to 43* possible? And why other 1.9TDI passat with 105 engine are so big difference in duration?

Injection nozzle size has a large influence on quantity vs duration. The DPF version is probably using long duration and small nozzles to trade soot for lower cylinder pressure/heat and reduced NOX.

Same difference in maps of 2.0 16v PPD tdi BKP (Passat 140hp nonDPF Siemens) and BMN(170hp DPF Siemens)

BMN durations around 35-40@4500rpm, BKP durations 26-28@4500rpm. So as QuickTD said its due to DPF.
